Counting to 100

In kindergarten at Lainee's school, as soon as you count to 100 for your teacher, and then the principal, you get your picture up on the wall. Very prestigious honor.  Since the first student got up, Lainee has been dying to get up there.  She would come home from school and say, "Mom, I've just got to get on that wall.  I just have to!"  Super funny.  She was able to do it pretty early on for me, but she was nervous and wanted to keep practicing before doing it for Mrs. Garcia.  But the day came.  She marched in and said she was ready.  She did it for her teacher, and then when they called the principal down, she did it again.  She was awarded a fun-size candy bar and a pencil.  Big stuff!  The only downside....the day they took her picture she got in the car after school and said that she was embarrassed because she had to say fuzzy pickles in front of her whole class.  How awful.  But it was all worth it because the following Monday she had been laminated and taped to the wall.  So proud of this girl!
